3M™ Enviro swab ENVSWB100 The 3M™ Enviro Swab is a ready-to-use pre-moistened swab designed to collect environmental samples from all types of food contact surfaces in the food processing industry. Each swab comes in a sealed tube and is pre-moistened with a neutralizing solution to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. The specially shaped swab tip makes it easy to take samples in hard-to-reach areas. The tamper evident band is a good safety indicator that shows whether the swab has been used. Resealable tubes prevent one swab from contaminating other swabs and allow for facility-wide use. The 3M™ Enviro Swab is not recommended for “dry” facilities where totally dry sampling is required. HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is the most widely accepted food safety quality management protocol in the world. 3M sampling products are an integral part of this approach to identifying potential hazardous substances in food and pinpointing their exact location.
