MCX columns are suitable for the aqueous GPC/SEC analysis of strong polyanions such as poly(styrene sulfonate), lignin sulfonate, modified starches, acids, alcohols, and pectins. This sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer-based GPC column can be used for sulfonated polymers with molar masses ranging from 100 to 5,000,000 Da and are available in two particles sizes with a range of porosities to meet your polymer analysis needs. MCX columns meet USP L22, tolerate high buffer concentrations, pH 1 to 13, temperatures up to 80 °C, and organic solvents (up to 100% methanol or acetonitrile).
