Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) standards are extremely versatile as they can be used for organic GPC/SEC with a wide range of medium polarity eluents, such as tetrahydrofuran, toluene, methyl ethyl ketone, and ethyl acetate. They also work well with more polar organic eluents, for example dimethylformamide, dimethylacetamide, and hexafluoroisopropanol. The molecular weights are selected to provide equidistant calibration points for greater accuracy. Individual molecular weight standards are available from 102 to 15,000,000 Da, with options for both narrow and broad molar mass distribution standards. Convenient calibration kits are also available, including traditional kits, InfinityLab EasiVial kits, and ReadyCal kits.
