Residual liquid from pump pipes or samplers is safely collected with the drip safety stand. The safety stand is resistant to diluted alkalis and acids. The collecting container can also be filled with a neutralization medium, which dilutes and neutralizes the residual liquid. The upright tube is firmly attached to the wall with sturdy pipe clamps. The pipe clamps can easily be opened to remove the safety stand. The container for collecting the liquid can be unscrewed and is therefore easy to replace or empty.
