twin.tec microbiology PCR Plate 96, skirted or semi-skirted. Eppendorf twin.tec® PCR plates combine extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells for optimum heat conduction to the sample with extremely robust polycarbonate frames for ultimate rigidity and torsion resistance. Twin.tec plates reduce the risk of cross-contamination from the raised edges of individual wells, which can be effectively sealed. The sturdy frame not only makes the automation easier - but also the handling of the plates in general. Design in one piece: connecting a polycarbonate frame with polypropylene wells for optimum performance. Extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells guarantee optimal temperature transfer. Exceptionally stable and torsion-resistant polycarbonate frame. Improved well-to-well tolerance. Beveled corner and alphanumeric raster referencing. Increased corrugation margins provide effective closure and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Certified free of detectable human DNA, DNases, RNases and PCR inhibitors. Available with barcode (on request). Ideal also for quantitative real-time PCR.
