Gas washing attachment, consists of a PTFE base body with a GL 45 screw cap made of PPS or GLS 80 made of PP and two lateral GL 18 threaded connectors, a 300 mm long FEP gas inlet pipe and a gas distributor with finest holes. Resistance-free gas inlet and outlet with hard-walled hoses, e.g. PTFE, which can be connected through optionally available laboratory screw connections to the threaded connector. For elastic hoses, please use GL screw fittings. The riser pipe can be shortened to the desired length without any problems. The special feature: the screw cap can be moved independently from the main body and the complete unit thus without detach the connected hoses from the bottle or screw tight again. Suitable for bottles from the Duran Group (formerly Schott, Mainz) with GL 45 or GLS 80 thread and a volume from 100 - 5000 ml.
The DURAN® Filtering apparatus. Made of high-quality borosilicate glass. Aside from glass, the medium only comes into chemical contact with PTFE. This means that the filtering apparatus can be used to filter virtually any chemical. Thanks to the PTFE disc holder, fritted glass discs of different porosities can be used in addition to the slit-sieve disc. This creates a wide application scope for filtration using filter paper, membrane filters (47mm) or simply using glass filters. Different porosities are available between 10µm and 160µm, which makes it possible to perform coarse and fine filtration in addition to analytical filtration. Furthermore, the filtering apparatus is suitable for the filtration of HPLC media, testing for bacterial contamination, residue analysis and the filtration of other media.
