EZ-Guard columns combine an Agilent J&W VF column with a built-in guard column. The first 5 or 10 m section of the column (depending on the configuration) is not coated with stationary phase, but has been deactivated. Eliminating the column connection between the guard and analytical sections ensures 100% leak-free performance.
Low Bleed GC/MS Columns. VF-624ms (along with VF-1301ms) is the world's first ultralow-bleed mid-polar 6% cyanopropyl/phenyl, 94% polydimethylsiloxane GC column. It eliminates co-elution of benzene and 1,2-dichloroethane and is designed to provide more accurate trace analysis of semivolatile organic solvents according to EPA methods 524, 624, and 8260, as well as USP 467.
