HP-FFAP is designed primarily for the analysis of organic acids, free fatty acids, or samples that require quantitation of acidic impurities. The FFAP stationary phase is modified with acid to provide a very inert column that can accommodate the demanding analysis of acids dissolved in water. Features • Nitroterephthalic acid modified polyethylene glycol • High polarity • Designed for the analysis of volatile fatty acids and phenols • Replaces OV-351 • Bonded and cross-linked • solvent rinsable • Close equivalent to USP Phase G35 • Note: We do not recommend the use of water or methanol to rinse HP-FFAP GC columns • Similar Phases: Stabilwax-DA, Nukol, 007-FFAP, BP21, AT-1000, OV-351
Standard Polysiloxane GC Columns: • 100% dimethylpolysiloxane (PDMS) • Nonpolar • General purpose phase • Bonded, crosslinked, and solvent rinsable • Separates almost entirely based on boiling points, making this column suitable for a wide range of applications with a broad temperature range • Available in Fused Silica or UltiMetal • Tested against the strictest industry QC specifications for column bleed, sensitivity, and efficiency • Performance Summary shipped with each column • Similar phases: SPB-1, Rtx-1, BP-1, OV-1, OV-101, 007-1(MS), SP-2100, SE-30, ZB-1, AT-1, ZB-1
Ultra Inert GC Columns. DB-624 UI is optimal for the fast analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in pharmaceutical, environmental, food, and industrial chemical applications. The unique Ultra Inert deactivation process enhances peak shape, improving signal-to-noise levels and increasing sensitivity for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Application Specific GC Columns. DB-VRX features unique selectivity, engineered for optimum resolution of volatiles. These low-polarity columns deliver excellent peak shapes and are fully compliant with U.S. EPA methods 502.2, 524.2, and 8260. They are bonded and crosslinked, and require no subambient cooling to resolve the six 'gases'. DB-VRX features an operating temperature range of –20 to 260 °C.
Standard Polysiloxane GC Columns. DB-17 is a (50%-phenyl)-methylpolysiloxane column of mid polarity. Equivalent to USP phase G3, it is excellent for confirmation analysis. Features: • (50%-Phenyl)-methylpolysiloxane • Mid polarity – slightly more polar than HP-50+ • Excellent for confirmation analysis • Bonded, crosslinked, and solvent rinsable • Equivalent to USP phase G3 • Tested with the tightest industry QC specifications for column bleed, sensitivity, and efficiency • Performance Summary shipped with each column • Similar phases: Rtx-50, 007-17(MPS-50), SP-2250, SPB-50, ZB-50, AT-50
