By using the sealing press, pan and lid are cold welded. • The unique lid piercing device ("wasp") allows you to open hermetically sealed crucibles just before the measurement start. • Piercing immediately before the measurement start ensures that drying or water uptake of the sample during the waiting period does not occur.
