A standard horn (SH) with its concentrating design amplifies the amplitude generated by the ultrasonic transducer. The standard horn is provided with an internal thread for mounting a sonotrode. The external thread is used for the pressure-tight connection of sonication vessels. Separate adapters are available depending on the sonication vessel.
FZ 5 G flow-through standard horn for the production of stable mixtures otherwise immiscible or difficult to mix liquids. Various standard ground joint vessels with NA adapters can be connected to the external thread and combined to form a highly effective ultrasonic reactor for continuous operation. Two different media can be continuously sonicated and homogenized by feeding the premixed substances directly into the cavitation field.
