Rosette cell, made of glass. A rosette cell (RZ) enables the intensive and even sonication of liquid media. The round shape of the side arms leads to an intensified circulation of the sample.
TS 102 Probes for series HD 4000 SONOPLUS sonotrodes for connection to standard and booster horns. Made of titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165). They transmit the mechanical vibrations into the sample. The radiating surface is only on the tip, not on the sides. A high amplitude means particularly intensive sonication and increased wear on the sonotrode. Due to their geometry, the sonotrodes achieve a multiple amplitude gain and thus achieve the highest ultrasonic power density characteristics in liquids. * The sonotrodes are matched to the corresponding working frequency. The length specifications may vary slightly due to material tolerances in the titanium alloy.

VS probe extension Sonotrodes are the components of the ultrasound system that come into contact with the liquid and are screwed onto standard and booster horns. All BANDELIN sonotrodes are made of the titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165). Sonotrodes transmit the mechanical vibrations into the sample, are thermostable, autoclavable and resistant to corrosive media. The sample volume, vessel diameter and desired amplitude determine the choice of device and type of sonotrode. A high amplitude means a particularly intensive sound. Due to their geometry, the sonotrodes achieve a multiple amplitude gain and thus achieve the highest ultrasonic power densities in liquids. They are used for complicated laboratory tasks, such as cell and bacterial disruption in biology and reaction acceleration in chemistry. Long sonotrodes are particularly suitable for sonication of ceramic suspensions or for sample preparation for particle size analysis.
Standard horn, used to produce stable mixtures of non mixable or hardly mixable liquids, different vessels with standdard ground can be connected via adapters NA to the external thread of the horn. A standard horn (SH) with its concentrating design amplifies the amplitude generated by the ultrasonic transducer. The standard horn is provided with an internal thread for mounting a sonotrode. The external thread is used for the pressure-tight connection of sonication vessels. Separate adapters are available depending on the sonication vessel.
