The 3M™ protective suit 4532+ is suitable for protection against small chemical splashes, liquids and hazardous dusts including radioactively contaminated particles. It meets the requirements of a range of chemical protective clothing standards including EN 1149 antistatic protection, EN 1073-2 protection against radioactive particles, EN ISO 13688, EN 13034 type 6 against liquid splash and EN ISO 13982-1 type 5 against fine dust. Recognized by the light blue triangle on the blue suit, which is made from the same 52gsm SSMMS as the rest. This coverall has a unique, special material treatment, which means it offers improved liquid protection and is particularly oil and alcohol repellent. The 3M protective suit 4532+ is extremely breathable and soft, yet robust and strong with a weight of 52 g/m². It is made of SSMMS and consists of a layer of spunbonded inner and a double layer of spunbonded outer with two layers of meltbonded in between. The spunbond provides strength and splash protection, while the meltbond layers create a multi-layer web of microfibers that filter out dry particles. The soft, breathable and very light fleece material allows body heat and moisture to be dissipated more easily. This means more comfort and increases productivity in the workplace. It meets the requirements of a range of chemical protective clothing standards including EN 1149 antistatic protection, EN 1073-2 protection against radioactive particles, EN ISO 13688, EN 13034 type 6 against liquid splash and EN ISO 13982-1 type 5 against fine dust. This can be recognized by the white triangle on the blue suit, which is made from the same 54g/m² SMMS as the rest. This suit has a unique special material treatment (material only, not components) therefore limits flame spread according to the ISO 14116 index 1. This allows the disposable coverall to be used in conjunction with an Index 2/3 garment for better protection against chemical liquid splash and noxious dust. In addition, the lifespan of the reusable garment is extended because it has to be washed less often.
