The Bowie-Dick test indicates adequate vapor penetration and is performed daily after a warm-up cycle in an empty chamber. The test is designed to comply with Department of Health requirements (HTM 01-05.) for dental sterilization. Use the Comply Bowie-Dick test package to detect air leakage, inadequate venting, and vapor penetration in vacuum steam sterilizers.
