The 3M™ Polyimide Insulating Tape 1205 is an insulating tape with a polyimide film backing. This flame retardant tape is suitable for applications that require thin insulating material to wrap around transformers, capacitors and wiring harnesses. It can withstand a temperature range of -40 to 155°C without losing its electrical properties or tensile strength. This means that the insulating tape belongs to insulation class F. The adhesive tape, which is 0.076 millimeters thick, can withstand a breakdown voltage of 7,500 volts and is flame-retardant according to UL 510. The polyimide film is particularly suitable for applications in which it is exposed to high temperature fluctuations, in particular for masking contacts when soldering circuit boards. Since it can be printed, it can also be used for cable bundling and labeling, among other things.

3M™ Petrifilm™ Select Selected E. coli Bacteria (SEC) Count Plates are specifically designed for E. coli bacteria. Only E. coli colonies are visible.
3M™ Petrifilm™ Select E. coli Count Plate (SEC) is a ready-to-use culture medium system containing selective substances, nutrients, a cold-water-soluble gelling agent, and an indicator of glucuronidase activity, 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl -β-D-glucuronide (BCIG), which facilitates colony counting. Petrifilm SEC plates are used in the food and beverage industry for enumeration of Escherichia coli bacteria. The components of the Petrifilm SEC Plate are decontaminated but not sterilized. 3M Microbiology is ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001 certified. Most E. coli strains are thermotolerant and produce beta-glucuronidase, an enzyme that reacts with the BCIG indicator in Petrifilm SEC plates to produce dark green to blue-green colonies. Warning: Do not use this plate to detect E. coli O157. Like most other E. coli media, this plate does not specifically indicate the presence of an O157 strain. Because most O157 strains are atypical E. coli, e.g. they do not produce glucuronidase enzymes and blue-green coloration, they are not recognized by the Petrifilm SEC plate.
