Aluminum oxide crucibles with lid. Recommended for TGA or TGA/DSC measurements up to 1600 °C. In some cases, it can be a good alternative for DSC measurements above 640 °C. The perfectly flat base crucibles good candidates for TGA/DSC measurements at temperatures above 600 °C. After the measurement, the alumina crucibles can be regenerated. Often they are mechanically cleaned, then rinsed in solution before drying.

MP 120 μL crucible. Set of 25 crucibles, lids and seals. The medium pressure crucible is sealed with an FPM O-ring. The maximum pressure is 2 MPa. The crucible can also be sealed without using an O-ring (self-generated atmosphere). Can be used as a medium-pressure crucible (sealed with a lid, for DSC measurements) or as an open pan (for DSC or TGA measurements). The medium-pressure crucible with pin can only be used for DSC measurements, the pan can also be used without lid. When sealed with a lid and special seal, it is a single use crucible and cannot be regenerated. It withstands a maximum pressure of 2 MPa. The medium-pressure crucible is the perfect tool for samples containing liquids such as water, for temperatures above boiling point.
Copper 40 μL, pans without lids. This type of crucible is almost exclusively used for the determination of oxidative stability (OIT). Usually the induction time measured in this way is compared to the value obtained using an inert aluminum pan. The pan is almost exclusively used for the determination of oxidative stability (OIT) in the presence of copper, which has a catalytic effect. The copper pan can be used over the entire range for DSC measurements up to 750 °C. A typical feature of this special copper material (E-Cu) is its high thermal conductivity and its good resistance against corrosion.
